Is this your first time visiting the ThreatModeler Community? Welcome! We’re so glad you found us. If you’ve been here before, welcome back! This thread will prepare you to get the most out of the community, explain the purpose of each of the sections, and explore what you can expect to learn in them.

Why are we here?

This community is built for those who hope to use ThreatModeler to minimize risk with threat modeling. Whether you’re new to our product or to threat modeling as a practice, or you’re seasoned and looking for ways to take the next step, this community is for you.

As the foremost expert in threat modeling, ThreatModeler is hyper-focused on helping DevOps teams make proactive security decisions instead of reacting to vulnerabilities and threats. We’ve curated this space with experts who are here to help you succeed, answer your questions along the way, and educate you as you learn how threat modeling can decrease risk for your organization. You’ll also find those peers who can teach you through experience, as well as those whom you can teach with your unique perspective.

This community is for everyone so please be sure to follow these guidelines as you interact in the community so we can continue to build an environment where everyone feels welcome!

So what are you waiting for? Introduce yourself in our introductions thread and find out who else is here!

Let Us Show You Around

If you scroll to the top of the community from any page, you’ll see a few options available to you in the navigation. Let’s define what those are so you know what to expect in each section.

Discussions

Pretty self-explanatory, huh? This is where we’ll share our latest blogs, news, thought leadership, and host our ThreatModeler forum. We want you to get inspired with the questions asked, the content shared, and feel empowered to ask questions yourself.

Share best practices, ask questions, get answers, and get inspired. If you want to learn more about our Discussion Categories, check out this guide. We can’t wait to see your first post!

Guides

These are also fairly aptly named. Guides are filled with advice and resources for your success that come straight from some of ThreatModeler’s best and brightest. They’re designed to invite conversations and suggestions and are driven more by user experience rather than by product line. You can expect to see more Guides added to the ThreatModeler Community over time.

Groups

We know that discussions are organized around questions our members ask. On the flip side, groups are organized by types of people (i.e. Industry, Region, Use Case, Role, etc.) Don’t see a group that you think could help the community? Let us know!

Product Updates

We share a lot of information about our product releases on our website, but we understand that it can be difficult to keep up with. On the Community Product Updates page, you can expect to find notices of our maintenance releases, important features we want to make sure you don’t miss, and important product release information to increase your ThreatModeler knowledge.

ThreatModeler Help

Speaking of knowledge, trust us, you’ll want to check out ThreatModeler Help. We just launched a brand new portal that will connect you directly with product FAQs, give you access to our new ticketing system for any help you may need, and find answers to questions you might run into with our platform.

We’re so excited you’re here!
